 The idea for VERY BERRY PAWS came from watching some of my customers’ agility dogs. They’d come off the course hot and thirsty, but too excited by the competition to drink. What struck me was, even those that did, didn’t seem to be refreshed. That started me thinking about the way sports drinks help people, and how could I make something like that for pets? So I got together with my vet, Dr. Al, and called in a bio-chemist, and the three of us tossed around the notion of a special kind of water for our canine and feline companions. It had to be pretty tasty, so dogs and cats would drink even when distracted. It also had to restore their depleted energy, like a sports drink. And it had to be like the human products that are ready to drink, with no mixing and no mess.
