Diane Bethea’s I adopted my Shih Tzu Tessa from the local animal shelter and she was my first dog ever. I found out several months later that Tessa was very sick and had been for quite a while with a very large bladder stone and it now required emergency surgery. After the surgery the veterinarian put her on a special kibble diet and Tessa hated it and would not eat for days at a time. I started to research natural dog foods and found the Cape Dog Bakery and Anita the owner introduced me to Raw Health. She gave me a sample and to my delight my dog loved it! It has now been three years and Tessa is healthy and has not had a recurrence of any stones as the vet told me that she would be prone to keep getting bladder and kidney stones with out the special diet. Tessa also had a terrible tear staining problem that cleared up on the Raw Health. I could not be happier with the food and the results I have gotten. I would recommend it to all pet owners especially if their beloved pet has a health problem. As a nurse I know how important good nutrition is and our pets’ needs are not so different from our own. I also appreciate the fact that it is made right here in Florida. |
